On the 2026–27 academic job market

Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University, where I received my Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policy and completed certificates in Population Studies and in Statistics and Machine Learning. I am a sociologist and social demographer studying stratification and inequality, with a focus on the educational experiences of youth and young adults.

My research develops new tools to make visible the growing heterogeneity within higher education, and examines how institutional selectivity and field of study shape the labor market and family outcomes of the college-educated. I also develop causal inference methods to trace how developmental inequities and educational experiences of social groups shape both their decisions to pursue higher education and the kind of education they go on to receive. Lastly, I examine how the introduction and proliferation of generative AI is changing the higher education landscape, and what makes majors and fields of study vulnerable or resilient to technological change.
